Happy Birthday Vinnie!!

Today is Vinnies Birthday. He probably won't like it that I did this
but he deserves it and more! He is such a wonderful husband
and father and we love him very much!
Even though Vinnie has many hobbies that take him far away sometimes...
He still would rather be home with his family. Sure he likes to
go and do but not for very long he wants to get home!
He is patient, kind, loving, generous, a hard worker,
honors his priesthood, and loves his family very much!

and the best part is I get to wake up to him every morning
and not this hottie!

Carder's new cast...already

Well Carder already has a new cast. Just as I posted the last
one Vinnie said his cast was falling off. So we went to see the
doctor and they put a new one on. This one is much better
though. It is a lot smaller and I can even get some clothes on
him now. It's a nice blue color as well. The doctor did say
he has yet to get a child proof cast. Meaning they are hard
to keep them on. So we shall see how long this one lasts??
I think he approves of this one much more than the last one.

Carders broken finger

It looks like a broken arm but its just a finger. Poor guy had
an accident last night and broke his pinky finger. It was all very
sad and he was very sad and you know how those emergency
room visits go sometimes...not fast enough. But after a long night
at the ER we made it home around 4 in the morning. They x-rayed
his finger and it was broken it two places and they put a pin in it
to keep it together and stictched him up and then protected it
with this large cast. He was not a happy camper when he woke
up this morning. He wanted this big thing off and that is why
they put such a big one on is because they knew he would try to
get it off. All things considered he has been a trooper!
He was eating some crackers as he was hungry from such a long night.
Quite the cast? We thought he would not be able to get around
very good or even be able to crawl or to stand up to things.
I figured he would have to hang out in his walker to feel like
he was getting around places. As you can see below he is not
likeing it. He would rather be getting around on his own
and he is! He is using the cast to his advantage. Not much
holding him back. And don't get to close or he will whop you with
that hard cast. He got me this morning. This is just a temporary
cast until we go back to the orthopedic surgeon on Monday.
So I'm hoping that one will be a lot smaller for him.

In the meantime he is getting lots of love and attention!!!
Whether he likes it or not.
